Getting Started
How do I put the board on my TV?
Open herohighlightsboard.comin any browser — smart TV, Fire Stick (Silk browser), a laptop plugged into HDMI, a Raspberry Pi. Press full screen (F11 on a keyboard) and that's it. The board updates itself: scores every few seconds during matches, new features automatically.
How do I pick my teams?
Click the logo (top-left) or visit /settings — choose leagues, star teams, follow players. Changes save instantly. Sign in and your picks follow you to every screen you own.
Why is the score a few seconds behind my TV?
We show confirmed match data, verified before it's published — typically 30–60 seconds behind live broadcast. The upside: we don't celebrate goals that VAR takes away.
Billing
How does the free trial work?
Start a Pro trial with no card required. When it ends, you're only charged if you've chosen to subscribe — no surprise bills.
How do I cancel?
From your account on the pricing page — one click, no phone calls, no guilt trips. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
What's your refund policy?
Monthly: cancel anytime, no partial-month refunds. Annual: full refund within 14 days of the charge. Billing mistakes and duplicates: always refunded — email us. Full details in our Terms.
The Board
What do the full-screen celebrations mean?
The board interrupts for big moments: kickoffs, goals (confetti when it's YOUR team), VAR corrections, and champions being crowned. They last a few seconds, then the rotation resumes.
Will I ever see ads?
No. Not on Free, not on Pro, not ever — no third-party ads, no sponsored posts dressed up as news, no tracking. The free tier is our welcome mat, Pro is our business model, and your wall stays yours. (We reserve the right to mention, on our own pages, that Pro exists.)
Can I turn cards on or off?
Yes — every card type (tables, headlines, Fan Buzz, Cass's Recap, the Scout's Notebook…) has a toggle in settings, plus a night dimmer for overnight hours.
Who is Cass?
Our AI studio anchor. She writes short recaps of your teams' results — always labeled, grounded strictly in confirmed match data, and always on your side. Cass provides AI-generated editorial opinions based on verified match data; her commentary is independent and not affiliated with any player, club, or league.
