Terms of Service

HeroHighlightsBoard is a product of HeroHighlights LLC ("we," "us"). By using herohighlightsboard.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.

The Service

HeroHighlightsBoard is an always-on sports information display: live scores, standings, statistics, news, and related content, shown on screens you control. The free tier is free. Pro is a paid subscription with additional features, described on our pricing page.

Accounts

You need an account for Pro and for cloud-synced settings. Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.

Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Pro renews automatically until you cancel. The current prices are $4.99 per month (renews monthly) or $39 per year(renews yearly); the price shown at your checkout is the price that renews. Each renewal is charged at the start of its billing period — for trials, the first charge occurs when the trial ends (the trial end date is shown at checkout and in your acknowledgment email). If a trial requires no card, nothing is ever charged unless you add one. If we change your renewal price, we'll email you at least 14 days before it applies so you can cancel first. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Founding-fan price lock. If you start a yearly Pro subscription during our launch period, your $39/year price is locked for as long as your subscription stays active — even if the standard price rises later. The lock ends only if you cancel or your subscription lapses.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

How to Cancel

Cancellation is as easy as signing up, and takes effect immediately — no more charges from the moment you confirm:

1. Go to herohighlightsboard.com/pricing while signed in.
2. Click "Manage subscription" — this opens your secure Stripe billing portal.
3. Click "Cancel" and confirm. Done — no phone calls, no retention hoops.

You keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for. Prefer email? Write to support@herohighlightsboard.comfrom your account address and we'll cancel for you.

Refunds

Annual plans: full refund if you ask within 14 days of the charge. Monthly plans: no refunds or proration for partial months — cancellation stops the next charge instead. Billing errors and duplicate charges are always refunded, on any plan. Refunds are processed by Stripe to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. Ask at support@herohighlightsboard.com; anything outside these rules is at our discretion — we're humans, write to us and we'll be fair.

Sports Data & Accuracy

Scores, statistics, schedules, and news come from third-party providers. We work hard to show confirmed data promptly, but it can lag live broadcasts and may occasionally be corrected (goals get reviewed, kickoffs move). The Service is informational — don't use it where errors or delays could cause harm, and never as a basis for wagering.

Acceptable Use

Don't abuse the Service: no scraping or reselling our data feeds, no probing or overloading our systems, no circumventing plan limits, no unlawful use.

Third-Party Marks & Imagery

Club names, crests, and league marks are used for identification purposes only. Player photos are used for informational purposes only, in an editorial context — alongside the news, statistics, and results they illustrate. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league, player, or organization. All team names, crests, and logos belong to their respective clubs and organizations.

Our Content

The Service's software, design, and original content (including our AI anchor's recaps) belong to HeroHighlights LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

AI Commentary

Cass, our AI anchor, provides AI-generated editorial opinions based on verified match data. Her commentary is always labeled, is opinion rather than fact, and is independent — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any player, club, or league. AI-generated commentary and analysis are provided strictly for entertainment purposes. We make no guarantees regarding the mathematical accuracy of any statistic, projection, or sports prediction, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, betting, or gambling advice.

Fantasy Premier League Features

Where the Service displays fantasy-football information: this platform utilizes publicly available data from the FPL API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. Fantasy features are an unofficial companion display of data you request with your own team ID, plus our own labeled AI commentary, which is entertainment — not a recommendation of any wager, purchase, or fantasy transaction.

Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is"without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're a scoreboard, not a critical system.

Changes & Termination

We may update the Service and these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and — for changes that affect a paid subscription — we will email subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect, before your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you disagree. Continued use after that means acceptance. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime.
